  • In the offing. (prepositional phrase) --- The foreseeable future, likely to happen.
          e.g. :- (The shrinking of the economies across the world is in the offing.)
  • Leap. (verb) --- to jump , bound , hop.
         e.g. :- (You should not leap the conceptual facts while reading.)

  • Insular.(adjective) --- Separated or isolated from the surroundings.
         e.g. :- (We must help the insular community.)
  • Edifice. (noun) ---- An abstract structure , A school of thought.
        e.g. :- (Culture is an edifice of that very society or community.)
  • Incremental. (adjective.) --- Increasing , expansion , enlargement , addition.
         e.g. :- (There is the need of incremental changes in the economy to safeguard our                                  vulnerable communities.)
  • Trickle down. (verb) --- To pass from high-ranked people to lower ranked people.
         e.g. :- (The CEO's benefits are unlikely to trickle down to the factory workers.)
  • Overhaul. (verb) --- To repair , renovate or revision.
         e.g. :- (It is time to overhaul the Indian economy through flexible measures.)
  • Sign off. (verb) ;followed by "on" --- To give one's official approval to something for which it is needed.
         e.g. :- (Once the Manager signs off on the project , we can start construction.)
  • Ambit. (noun) --- The sphere or area of control and influence of something.
          e.g. :- (This case falls clearly within the ambit of 1935 act.)
  • Shamble. (noun) --- A scene of great disorder or ruin.
         e.g. :- (A shamble was seen in his picturesque.)
