  • Vista.(noun) --- A beautiful view , panorama , prospect , a range of things that might happen in the future.
e.g. :- ("Aatmnirbhar Bharat" could open up new vistas for the nation.)
  • Lash out. (ph.verb) --- To criticize somebody harshly. 
e.g. :- (They lashed out the policies and schemes launched by the government.)
  • Intrigue. (verb) --- To make somebody very interested , to secretly plan to harm people.
e.g. :- (The then British govt. intrigued the Bahadur Shah Zafar)
  • Reach out.(ph.verb) --- To show somebody that you are interested in them or want to help them.
e.g. :- (The nation must  find new ways of reaching out to the vulnerable societies.)
  • Give away. (ph.verb) --- To give something as a gift , to present something , to disclose the secrets.
e.g. :- (He gave away the secrets to the enemy.)
  • Usher in. (ph.verb) --- Beginning of something or to make something new begin.
e.g. :- (The change of guidance ushered in new ideas and policies.)
  • Onus. (noun) --- The responsibility of something. 
e.g. :- (The onus is on the healthcare workers to face the challenges of the pestilent disease like COVID 19)
  • Exacerbate. (verb) --- To make something worse , to aggravate.
e.g. :- (The symptoms may be exacerbated by the certain drugs.)
  • Jettison. (verb) --- To reject an idea , plan , belief etc. , get rid of something , discard.
e.g. :- (He jettisoned of his visiting the place.)
  • Tamp down. (ph.verb) --- To suppress an emotion or thought.
e.g. :- (He often tamps down his wife.)
